The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, is in Mariupol and has arrived to support the fighting spirit of the fighters and brought additional technical equipment, the republic's minister for national policy, foreign relations, press and information Akhmed Dudayev told TASS on Monday.
"In the direction of Mariupol and in Mariupol itself, fighters from the Chechen Republic are actively and effectively carrying out combat tasks. For all of them, the head of the Chechen Republic is a combat commander, since it was Ramzan Akhmatovich who was involved in planning and conducting a large number of combat special operations in the republic against international terrorists and extremists with his direct participation. And in order to raise the morale of our fighters in Mariupol, Ramzan Akhmatovich arrived there," said Dudayev.
According to him, on the spot, Kadyrov held a meeting and a meeting with the commander of the 8th Army and with commanders of special units from the Chechen Republic.
"In addition, a further strategy for the fighters from the Chechen Republic has been tweaked and developed. This information was passed on by the head to the chief of the Russian General Staff and to the commander of the National Guard in order to liberate Mariupol in the coming days," the agency's interlocutor added.
