Negotiations on the supply of Sputnik V vaccine to Turkey continue, the RDIF told TASS.
"Negotiations with Turkey are continuing. The above quotes [from a representative of the Turkish Ministry of Health] are an example of fake news," the agency's interlocutor said.
Earlier, Haberturk newspaper with reference to the statement of Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koja wrote that Ankara refused to buy Russian vaccine "Sputnik V". At the same time, on November 25, Koja announced about toxicological tests of the vaccine planned in Turkey in the near future, and on November 27, President of the Republic Tayyip Erdogan said that Ankara continued to negotiate with Moscow to import the vaccine against the coronavirus.
Applications to purchase over 1.2 billion doses of Sputnik V vaccine were received from more than 50 countries. The vaccine for delivery to foreign markets will be produced by international partners of the Russian Direct Investment Fund in India, Brazil, China, Korea and other countries.
