Russia and Libya advocate deepening cooperation in education

Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Evgeny Primakov and Ambassador of Libya to the Russian Federation Mohamed Al-Maghrawi discussed the development of relations between the two countries in the field of education. This was stated in a statement published on Thursday on the official page of the agency in the Telegram-channel.


According to the Libyan ambassador, most of all "the country needs specialists in the field of medicine and information technology." "The parties agreed to jointly help universities in Russia and Libya to cooperate," the statement said.


At the moment, there are 10 quotas of the Russian government for Libyans to study at Russian universities. In the near future, 160 students will be sent to study in Russia under the program of the Libyan Ministry of Education.
