Russia Calls on Hamas to Immediately Release All Hostages

The Russian side urges Hamas to promptly release all hostages,  moscow's stance on this matter is resolute,  Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

 

"Our unswerving position is that all Hamas hostages must be released immediately and without delay. We call upon Hamas to take all necessary measures to secure the release of these hostages," emphasized the Kremlin spokesman. He also pointed out that Moscow is actively employing all available means for communication to pursue the release of Russian citizens from Hamas captivity, engaging with all relevant parties involved in the conflict. In response to a related query, Peskov acknowledged, "Although we have not yet achieved their release, we will persist in these endeavors."

 

The presidential spokesman further clarified that the Russian side currently lacks precise information regarding the method and timeline for the potential release of the Russians. "Our thoughts and sympathy go out to the families and friends of these hostages, and we fervently hope for their safe and prompt return," Peskov continued. He emphasized, "Naturally, our primary concern is the well-being of our fellow citizens."
