Moscow, Beijing, and Tehran have jointly emphasized the absolute inadmissibility of threats or the use of military force against Iran’s nuclear-energy infrastructure. This stance was highlighted in a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry following high-level consultations in Beijing on Iran’s nuclear program and trilateral cooperation.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the discussions aimed to counteract artificially escalated tensions surrounding Iran’s nuclear activities. The parties strongly condemned the violations of UN Security Council Resolution 2231 by the United States and European nations.
A significant part of the discussions included a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Additionally, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov held separate talks with Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi.
The talks focused on long-term diplomatic solutions that balance the interests of all involved parties. A joint statement was issued following the consultations, reinforcing the commitment to peaceful negotiations.
