Dynamic relations between Russia and Asia are a political and economic "nightmare" for the West, which pursues an anti-Russian policy. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said this in an interview with the Izvestia daily on Tuesday.
"The main political and economic nightmare for the West as part of its strategic anti-Russian line - regardless of whether it is implemented against the background of the SMO or comes from other deep motives - is our dynamically developing relations with Asia," the diplomat said.
In his opinion, the modern world does not want to "follow the rules of the game imposed by the West," and "positively oriented countries are in no hurry to sign up for new closed "coalitions of like-minded people". Rudenko added that these countries do not intend to waste their resources on bloc schemes and "feed the geopolitical and geoeconomic ambitions" of the United States and its allies. The Asian countries are guided by the principles of well-being and prosperity of peoples, not geopolitical rivalry, the deputy foreign minister summarized.
