Charter flights from Russia to Egyptian resorts are planned to resume in the near future, Mikhail Bogdanov, the Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, told reporters on Tuesday.
"Everything is going according to plan. I think it will be announced soon," he said, responding to TASS's question about the resumption of flights. - "Everything is practically pre-determined. There is a tentative agreement, which officially, I think, will be brought [to an end]."
According to him, the decision will be announced at "another level". Bogdanov noted that the recent visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Egypt was successful, including in the context of discussions on the resumption of charter flights.
