Russian Presidential Special Envoy for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov during a meeting with Palestinian Ambassador to Moscow Abdel Hafiz Nofal reiterated Moscow's commitment to ongoing efforts aimed at bringing an early end to the bloodshed in the Gaza Strip.
"The conversation centered on the evolving situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone, with a particular emphasis on the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip. Russia's preparedness to sustain vigorous efforts for the earliest possible cessation of bloodshed was confirmed, as well as commitment to uniting all Palestinian political forces on the PLO platform," the statement reads.
