"As reported by the Russian Defense Ministry, starting from November 14, 9 thousand migrants were able to return to Nagorno-Karabakh. And if in the first days their number did not exceed a couple of hundred people, now thousands of people come to the gathering place in Yerevan wishing to return home," the article says.
As the newspaper specifies, the number of buses departing as part of an organized group to Stepanakert is approaching three dozen daily. "The column also includes personal cars with passengers and home belongings - up to several hundred cars in total," the newspaper notes.
On Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the return of 1.4 thousand people accompanied by Russian peacekeepers to Stepanakert. On Saturday, 1,100 people returned to Stepanakert.
According to the Defense Ministry, the contingent consisted of units of the 15 separate motorized rifle brigade (peacekeeping) of the Central Military District.
