The Sudanese army has announced that it intends to observe a 24-hour ceasefire with rapid support forces (special forces) from 6:00 p.m. local time (7:00 p.m. Moscow time).
This decision was confirmed Tuesday by Sudanese Army Commander Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.
"We [the army] have not agreed [with the rapid support forces] on a specific time to start the ceasefire, but we will observe this regime for 24 hours starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday," said al-Burhan, quoted by Sky News Arabia.
