The Syrian Arab Republic (SAR) considers Russia's actions in Ukraine absolutely necessary and condemns the West's aggressive role in the Ukrainian conflict. Syrian Ambassador to Moscow Bashar Jaafari said this on Tuesday, speaking on the platform of the Valdai Discussion Club.
"Syria fully supports Russia's special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine and condemns the Western aggressive role in this conflict, to continue this war and surround Russia with the UN," he said. "Russia's actions in Ukraine are absolutely necessary and absolutely legitimate, President [Russian President Vladimir] Putin is absolutely right when he makes such statements," the ambassador added.
