The Bulgarian Islamic Academy has started publishing the "BOLGAR" scientific journal. The journal will be published in Russian, English, Arabic and Tatar.
"BOLGAR" journal serves the revival and development of the Russian theological heritage, creates a space for discussion and development of common approaches to the conceptual issues of Islam, based on the national interests of the country and the centuries-old traditions of Russian Muslims.
It pays special attention to education and creating a positive image of traditional Islam, the development of Russian identity among local Muslims, countering destructive pseudo-religious ideologies, theoretical and practical development of the domestic system of Islamic education, scientific understanding of the culture and values of Islam, strengthening interethnic and interfaith harmony, and harmonization of state and religious relations.
