President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan thanked his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin for his efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries.
"I thank you, Mr. President, for the invitation and the assistance you provide to Emirati companies in this beautiful city. It shows the cooperation between Russia and the [United] Arab Emirates. The bridges and the partnership between us are set up, and we are working actively," he said. "We are set up for strong and solid relations, and I am grateful to you for that," the UAE president added.
The presidents held talks on the sidelines of the SPIEF on Friday and toured together the UAE's booths, which is participating in the forum as a major guest.
