Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib called for increased international pressure on Israel to end the armed conflict with the Palestinian group Hamas. He made this statement during a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan.
"The events unfolding in the southern part of our country are escalating tensions on the front, making containment increasingly challenging. Israel's actions are in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701. We urge the international community to intensify its efforts to compel Israel to cease the armed conflict," he emphasized.
