Putin and Tokayev Discuss Energy Cooperation in Phone Call

Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, during which they discussed energy cooperation and other bilateral topics. The discussion was confirmed by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary for the Russian president.

 

Peskov stated, "The President is working in Novo-Ogaryovo today. He has already had a telephone conversation with his counterpart in Kazakhstan, President Tokayev. We will provide a more detailed message shortly. The discussion continued to focus on issues of bilateral interaction, particularly on cooperation in energy matters."
