Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with his Kyrgyz counterpart Sadyr Zhaparov on Monday, the Kremlin press service reported.
"A number of practical aspects of further development of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation were discussed, including in trade, economic, financial and humanitarian areas," the statement said.
The Kremlin added that "in the context of Russia's presidency in the EEU and Kyrgyzstan's in the CIS - some issues of interaction within the framework of integration associations in the Eurasian space were touched upon."
"The mutual intention to further strengthen Russia-Kyrgyzstan allied relations was confirmed, and agreed to continue personal contacts," the statement said.
