Russian Embassy in Tehran Prepares for Security Risks Amid Potential Israeli Attack on Iran

16 April

In response to inquiries regarding the necessity for additional defense measures for the diplomatic mission, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko assured reporters that the Russian Embassy in Tehran is vigilant regarding all security risks associated with a potential Israeli attack on Iran.

"Our embassy in Tehran consistently implements all necessary measures to safeguard its security. I am confident that the current risks are being duly considered," stated the deputy minister.

On the evening of April 13, Iran launched drones and missiles towards Israel, citing various grievances, including an attack attributed to Israel on the consular section of Iran's embassy in Damascus. Iranian state media claimed the targets were military installations. The Israel Defense Forces stated they intercepted 99% of approximately 350 Iranian projectiles aimed at the Jewish state, causing minor damage to the Nevatim air base.
