The meeting of the Joint commission on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Iran's nuclear program was successful, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's Permanent Representative to international organizations in Vienna, said.
The commission met in Vienna on Tuesday at the level of political directors in a face-to-face format, with the Russian delegation headed by Ulyanov.
"The meeting of the Joint commission on the nuclear deal was successful. The two expert-level groups (on lifting sanctions and nuclear issues) were tasked with identifying specific measures to be taken by Washington and Tehran to restore full implementation of the JCPOA. The groups immediately began their work," Ulyanov wrote on Twitter.
