Medical assistance by the Russian Emergencies Ministry doctors was provided to 268 people, the press service of the Ministry reported TASS on Monday.
"Specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations provided medical assistance in 268 cases, including 29 children. Employees of the Rospotrebnadzor laboratory conducted 248 tests for COVID, and psychologists of the EMERCOM of Russia provided assistance in 33 cases," the department said.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations also clarified that Russian rescuers founded the bodies of eight victims from the rubble after the explosion.
"During the work in the emergency zone, rescuers and canine services examined 3,100 square meters of territory, including 6,800 square meters using unmanned aerial vehicles. During the work, 8 victims were found and extracted, " the Ministry said.
Earlier it was reported that during the work, rescuers found and extracted the bodies of six people from the rubble.
