According to Ozerov, in the current reality, there is a need to study the legacy of Soviet diplomats Nazir Torekulov and Karim Khakimov, including the release of books and films that would vividly and clearly tell about their activities and the history of relations between the peoples of the two countries.
Karim Khakimov is a Soviet diplomat, the first Plenipotentiary representative of Soviet Russia in the Arab countries, who made a significant contribution to the establishment of good relations between the young Soviet Republic and the Arab-Persian world.
Nazir Torekulov is a Soviet party and statesman, diplomat, representative of the USSR in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (1928-1936), publicist, philologist.
Their contribution to the development of Soviet diplomacy, in particular in the Arab world, was discussed at the international conference organized by the GSV "Russia – Islamic world".
