The UN Security Council did not adopt any of Russia's proposed amendments to Brazil's draft resolution on the Middle East, a TASS correspondent reports.
Russia had suggested two amendments to the Brazilian draft, one of which called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire and the other condemned indiscriminate strikes on the Gaza Strip.

Additionally, Russia included a separate condemnation of the attack on Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza in its latest amendment. These changes were aimed at achieving a balance in the resolution, as it originally condemned the attack by the Hamas movement without assessing Israel's actions.
