A TASS correspondent reports that another group of Russians, evacuated from the Gaza Strip, has safely arrived in the Russian Federation. The Russian Emergencies Ministry's Il-76 airplane, on a special flight from Cairo, landed at Domodedovo airport, carrying 103 people, including 47 children. All evacuees passed through the Rafah checkpoint.
Roman Okhotenko, the Director of the Russian Emergencies Ministry's Information Policy Department, stated that over the last 24 hours, 101 Russians crossed the Gaza Strip border via the Rafah crossing as part of the evacuation efforts.
"During the last 24 hours, 101 compatriots, along with their family members, crossed the Gaza Strip border through the Rafah crossing. In total, over 750 individuals have been successfully evacuated from the conflict zone," he reported.
Notably, more than 650 individuals, including 300 children, have been safely brought to Russia since the commencement of the evacuation operation, according to Roman Okhotenko. The Ministry of Emergency Situations' press service indicated that some evacuees have reunited with relatives, while others are accommodated in temporary centers in Volokolamsk and Klin, where they receive essentials like hot meals, water, and warm clothing.
During a meeting with members of the government on November 22, Russian President Vladimir Putin was informed by the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, that over 900 people had sought assistance for evacuation. Notably, seven flights conducted by the Russian Emergencies Ministry have transported a total of 656 people to Domodedovo airport since October 12.
