About 4 thousand Russian tourists returned from Egypt

21 December 2022

About 4 thousand Russian tourists have returned from Egypt so far. This was reported to TASS in the press service of Tez Tour.

"As of today, about 4 thousand tourists have returned to Russia," the statement said.

The tour operator plans to transport most of the Russian tourists from Egypt by the end of this week, the company added.

December 15, iFly flights from Moscow to Egypt were canceled due to the restriction of the airspace of Jordan. Rosaviatsiya recommended the airline to redirect passengers to other carriers. At the same time, iFly itself tried to re-route and fly over Syria. Currently, iFly continues to coordinate the necessary documents with the Federal Air Transport Agency to carry out flights to Egypt and plans to start flying from December 22.

As previously reported in Tez Tour, the return of all travelers will require the organization of more than 15 flights. The tour operator's clients will be able to fly to Moscow on Egypt Air, Red Wings and Corendon airlines.
