Aeroflot Airlines will launch flights from Moscow to Tashkent from May 20, the company said in a statement. At the same time, from May 21, Rossiya flights from Sochi to Tashkent will be cancelled.
"Aeroflot launches direct scheduled flights from Moscow (Sheremetyevo) to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The daily flights will be operated using wide-body jets, Airbus A330. The flights are scheduled to start on May 20," - the statement reads. - "Due to the launch of direct flights by Aeroflot from Moscow, Rossiya Airlines flights from Sochi to Tashkent have been canceled since May 21. Passengers will be rebooked on flights from Moscow."
Aeroflot now flies from Moscow to Urgench, Bukhara and Samarkand.
