Algerian president reshuffles government

President of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboun on Thursday partially reshuffled the government, Algeria Press Service reported. 


Ayman Benabderrahmane retained the post of prime minister. Minister of the Interior, Local Government and National Planning was replaced by Brahim Merad, and Kamel Beldjoud became Minister of Transportation.


Abdelhak Sahihi became new Minister of Health, replacing Abderrahmane Benbouzid.


Key members of the government - the incumbent ministers of foreign affairs, justice, energy and finance - retained their positions.
