Azerbaijan has not participated in, and will not join, the anti-Russian sanctions campaign, President Ilham Aliyev stated during the International Forum “Intelligence on the World, Europe, and Italy” in Cernobbio, Italy.
Aliyev emphasized that Azerbaijan maintains strong relations with both Russia and Ukraine, supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine as well as other nations. However, he made it clear that Azerbaijan will not take part in sanctions against Russia, as reported by the state news agency AzerTAj.
