Any ideology of superiority is inherently disgusting, deadly and criminal, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday, speaking at the Victory Parade on Red Square.
"We believe that any ideology of superiority is inherently disgusting, criminal and deadly," the head of state said. At the same time, he noted that Western elites are still talking about their exceptionalism, dividing society and setting people against each other, provoking bloody conflicts and coups, sowing hatred, aggressive nationalism, Russophobia, destroying those family and traditional values that make humans human. All this, Putin pointed out, is done in order to continue imposing, dictating their rights, their will, their rules to the peoples - in essence, a system of robbery, suppression and violence.
"They seem to have forgotten what the Nazis' insane claims to world domination led to, they have forgotten who defeated this monstrous, total evil, who stood up for their native land and did not spare their lives to liberate the peoples of Europe," the president concluded.
