In 2019, Egyptian resorts will be visited by about 120 thousand Russian tourists - the same number as a year before, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
Russians, as noted, continue to travel to Egypt, despite the fact that there are no direct flights to the resorts.
Tourists go there mostly independently, using connecting flights through third countries.
Therefore, the real tourist flow to Egypt cannot be estimated now. Experts can determine it only by circumstantial evidence.
During the best years, Egypt hosted two to three million Russian tourists.
