ATOR told about measures to counter the coronavirus in Turkey

The Turkish authorities are taking special measures at the entrance and inside the country to prevent the emergence and spread of the virus.


According to ATOR, now, out of 1363 tests for this disease, no positive ones have been detected.


According to the latest data, there are no cases of coronavirus in Turkey.


The country has already closed borders or restricted flights with five countries, including Iran, China, Italy, South Korea and Iraq.


All tourists, regardless of their nationality, who have visited China, Iran, South Korea, Iran and Italy in the last 14 days, are also prohibited from entering Turkey.


All those who return from the Hajj from Saudi Arabia are subject to mandatory checks.


In addition, Turkish citizens were urged to avoid traveling abroad and advised those who have already traveled abroad to isolate themselves at home for 14 days after their return.


Turkish hotels are advised to pay special attention to regular disinfection of door handles, TV remote controls, air conditioners and outdoor surfaces in public recreation areas.
