ATOR told about the readiness of Turkish hotels for the tourist season

03 April 2020

Representatives of the Turkish tourism industry assure that the country's hotels will open as soon as international flights are resumed. This is stated in the message of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

"Hotels are ready to open if there are tourists. And tourists will be when air traffic is restored. This depends on how much the governments of Turkey and Russia consider the epidemiological situation favorable,"  ATOR reports.

It is noted that if the situation with coronavirus improves, the hotels of popular resorts in Turkey will begin their work in May, and the first will be 5stars hotels.

Earlier, the Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said that the tourist season in the country due to the coronavirus pandemic would not begin until the end of May.
