26 October 2020

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has charged the Armed Forces of Armenia with responsibility for the violation of the ceasefire that entered into force on Monday at 07:00 Moscow time.

"Despite the announcement of a new humanitarian ceasefire regime from 08:00 [local time] on October 26, the Armenian Armed Forces once again grossly violated the reached agreement," the ministry's Telegram channel reports. At the same time, the Defense Ministry assures that Azerbaijan fully complies with the terms of the cease-fire.

"Azerbaijani army units all over the front fully observe the humanitarian ceasefire, which came into force on October 26 at 08:00 [local time, 07:00 Moscow time]," the ministry said.

On Sunday night, the two states agreed on the new ceasefire regime for humanitarian purposes in Nagorno-Karabakh, mediated by the United States.
