The negotiation process between Azerbaijan and Russia at various levels reflects the intensity of interaction between the countries, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said on Monday.
"The negotiation process at various tracks between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation, starting from the level of leaders, at the level of heads of governments and relevant ministries, departments, heads of subjects, <...> is the most vivid demonstration of the wide range of intensity that exists between our countries," he said at a meeting with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The talks between the foreign ministers are taking place in Moscow. During them, Bayramov and Lavrov plan to discuss the Azerbaijani-Armenian settlement, as well as a whole range of issues of further development of relations between Azerbaijan and Russia in the context of the declaration on cooperative cooperation signed by the presidents of the two countries in Moscow on February 22 of this year. The Russian diplomatic mission called this signing a landmark event in the allied cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan. The document provides for strengthening of foreign policy coordination and military-political cooperation, combining efforts in combating international terrorism, increasing economic cooperation and expanding dialogue in the humanitarian sphere.
