Mikhail Bogdanov, Russia’s Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister, held talks with Egypt’s Ambassador to Moscow, Nazih Naghari, focusing on the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict and developments in Sudan. The discussion was initiated by the Egyptian side, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The meeting centered on the worsening humanitarian and security situation in the Palestinian territories, with both sides exchanging views on potential paths to de-escalation and conflict resolution. The conversation also touched upon broader developments on the African continent, particularly the crisis in Sudan.
