Mikhail Bogdanov, Russian Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister, met with Jordanian Ambassador to Moscow, Khaled Shawabkeh, to discuss the ongoing armed conflict in Gaza and the border region between Lebanon and Israel.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry's statement, the talks included an in-depth exchange on current Middle Eastern issues, with a focus on the ongoing hostilities in Gaza and the Lebanon-Israel border area, as well as providing humanitarian assistance to affected populations.
The meeting also addressed practical steps to further strengthen the traditionally friendly relations between Russia and Jordan. This meeting was held at the request of the Jordanian side.
