Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov received Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Russia Ihab Nasr at the latter’s request.
During the talks, the ministers exchanged views on the Middle East agenda with a focus on the practical aspects of efforts to further strengthen relations between Moscow and Cairo to resolve the existing crisis situations in the region as soon as possible.
Special attention was paid to the development of the situation in Syria and Libya.
