Bogdanov discussed preparations for the Russia-Africa summit with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mozambique

Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on the Middle East and African Countries, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Mozambique, Maria Manuel Lukash, who also co-chairs the Russian-Mozambique Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation .

 

 


According to the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry, diplomats discussed goals and objectives for the development of multifaceted interaction between Moscow and Maputo and stressed the importance of strengthening coordination in the UN and at other international platforms.

 

 


Bogdanov, at the same time, confirmed the support of political and socio-economic transformations in Africa.

 

 


Special attention was paid to the topic of the Russia-Africa summit, which is scheduled for October this year in Sochi.
