Today, Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov had a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Russian Federation Abdulrahman Al-Hussaini.
During the conversation, according to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the parties exchanged opinions on topical matters on the regional agenda and focused on the situation in Iraq in the context of the ongoing domestic political crisis there.
The diplomats also touched upon a number of practical aspects related to the further development of friendly Russian-Iraqi cooperation.
