Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met with Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Russian Federation Abdel Hafiz Nofal at the latter’s request.
During the talks, the parties discussed the situation in the Middle East with a focus on the prospects for the Palestinian-Israeli settlement and the need to restore intra-Palestinian unity.
In addition, the diplomats discussed important aspects of further efforts to enhance cooperation between Russia and Palestine in various areas, including in the context of the outcome of the fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Russia-Palestine Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, which took place in Moscow on November 22.
