Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov received Jean-Yves Ollivier, Chairman of the Brazzaville Foundation, the international NGO specializing in peacekeeping in Africa.
The meeting focused on the development of the situation in Libya and the prospects for resolving the Libyan crisis.
At the same time, the Russian side stressed the importance of an early end to the armed confrontation and the establishment of an inclusive political process under the auspices of the UN in order to achieve inter-Libyan harmony and sustainable development of this country as a unified, sovereign and independent state.
