Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, and Bahraini Ambassador to Moscow Ahmed Al-Saati held discussions on Middle East matters, including the resolution of issues in Syria and Yemen, according to a report from the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The discussions also highlighted the improvement of the friendly relations between Russia and Bahrain, with an emphasis on expanding cooperation in trade, economics, culture, and humanitarian areas.
"The meeting also included a private exchange of perspectives on mutual Middle East concerns, including the challenges associated with resolving the situations in Syria and Yemen," stated the Russian ministry in a statement on its website.
