Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and First Deputy Foreign Minister of Kuwait Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah discussed the situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone by phone, as stated in a message on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"During the conversation, there was an in-depth exchange of views on current issues in the international and regional agenda, with a particular emphasis on the escalating Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the situation in the Persian Gulf zone," the ministry stated.
The parties also discussed matters related to the further development of Russian-Kuwaiti relations, building on the outcomes of the visit of Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Salem Abdullah al-Jaber al-Sabah to Moscow on November 3. The conversation took place at the initiative of the Kuwaiti side.
