Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov had a meeting with Special Envoy of the President of Indonesia for Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue and Cooperation Syafiq A. Mughni.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the topical problems of consolidation of international efforts in order to strengthen mutual understanding between people belonging to different civilizational and religious communities, prevention and settlement of conflicts arising based on identity. Further steps for bilateral Russian-Indonesian cooperation in this area were planned as well.
