Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov awarded Ambassador Mohamed Mahmoud Dahi of Mauritania in Moscow with the Russian diplomatic department's "For Cooperation" badge in recognition of his personal efforts in enhancing relations between the two nations. This information was reported on the Ministry's website following their meeting.
"Mohamed Mahmoud Dahi has been honored with the 'For Cooperation' badge by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in recognition of his substantial personal contributions to the advancement of Russian-Mauritanian relations," as stated by the ministry.
The diplomatic department also highlighted that during the meeting, both parties reaffirmed "Moscow and Nouakchott's commitment to further enhancing the comprehensive and traditionally friendly relations between Russia and Mauritania, including sustaining an active political dialogue on significant matters concerning the international and regional agenda."
The deputy foreign minister received the ambassador on the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in Russia.
