Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov attended the second international meeting on Libya in the "Berlin format" at the level of senior officials.
According to the press service of the Russian MFA, the event, which was held in the German Foreign Ministry, was also attended by representatives of the United States, France, Britain, Italy, Egypt, the UAE, Turkey, the Arab League, the African Union and the European Union.
The parties exchanged views on the current military-political situation in Libya and ways of early comprehensive settlement of the Libyan crisis to ensure sustainable development of this country as a united, territorially integral and sovereign state.
