A book titled “Domestic Muslim Military and Spiritual Service” has been published in the Russian Far East, aiming to benefit political and public figures. This was announced by Artur Garifullin, the Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Far East and the authorized representative of the Supreme Mufti of the Central Religious Board of Muslims of Russia in the region, during the Far Eastern Interfaith Forum.
“After visiting the special military operation zone and becoming immersed in the challenges that are on the minds and in the hearts of our soldiers today, our spiritual administration decided to create the book 'Domestic Muslim Military and Spiritual Service.' Unfortunately, many of our young men are not aware of much of what is written here,” Garifullin said during the forum’s plenary session.
The book will be distributed to religious leaders and government officials. Garifullin expressed hope that the book would become a go-to resource for Muslims, as well as for public and political figures.
The first Far Eastern Interfaith Forum, “Traditional Values of Russia as the Foundation of Interreligious Cooperation,” is being held in Khabarovsk from October 16-17. The forum brings together leaders and representatives of traditional religious communities and regional governments. Discussions at the event focus on countering the spread of extremist and terrorist ideologies, preserving traditional large families, integrating foreign citizens, and the role of religious communities in these processes.
