EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell will arrive in the Iranian capital on Friday evening for a visit. This was announced on Friday by Saeed Khatibzadeh, the Islamic Republic's Foreign Ministry Spokesman.
"EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell arrives in Tehran this evening for talks with our country's Foreign Minister and some other officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran," IRNA Agency quoted Khatibzadeh. - The visit, which is organized as part of ongoing consultations between Iran and the EU, will discuss the bilateral and international agenda, as well as the latest updates on the negotiations to lift [anti-Iranian] sanctions".
