During the visit to Uzbekistan, the delegation of the Bulgarian Islamic Academy (BIA) headed by rector Daniyar Abdrakhmanov visited the Imam Bukhari Tashkent Islamic institute. According to the press service of the BIA, the delegation was received by the rector of the Institute Uygun Gafurov.
The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation between universities and signed a Memorandum of understanding aimed at developing cooperation between educational institutions, involving the exchange of teaching staff and publications, as well as joint research projects.
Also, Abdrakhmanov visited the International Islamic Academy and met with rector Shuhrat Yovqochev. The heads of universities discussed the development of partnerships in the field of basic and additional education, as well as the implementation of joint scientific and cultural projects.
Following the visit, the parties signed a Memorandum of cooperation between the Bulgarian Islamic Academy and the international Islamic Academy.
