The Bulgarian Islamic Academy (BIA) will sign agreements on cooperation with the Islamic universities of the UAE, Egypt, and Jordan, the rector of BIA Daniyar Abdrakhmanov announced.
According to him, the agreements will involve mutual internships and exchange of teachers and students.
Abdrakhmanov also said that earlier representatives of the Academy visited Morocco, where they signed the agreement on cooperation with Abdelmalek Essaadi University in Tetuan.
In September, one of the teachers from Moroccan University arrives at the Bulgarian Islamic Academy to deliver an intensive course of Arabic language for students of BIA.
The Rector of BIA also said that the Academy will become part of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World in the near future.
