The Cathedral mosque of Moscow hosted celebrations on the occasion of Mawlid al-Nabi. As Moscow mufti Ildar Alyautdinov told RIA Novosti in an interview, celebrations included not the history of Islam, but also stories about family values.
"We gathered about two thousand guests-the parishioners of the mosque, guests of our city, including a children's ensemble from Dagestan, who performed nasheeds. We considered the most topical issues: how to choose a life partner, what is a Muslim marriage, how to build a harmonious relationship. There were also quite difficult questions, for example, how to survive a possible crisis between husband and wife, how to act in such cases according to Islamic laws, " the agency quoted Mufti as saying.
Alyautdinov also highlighted the fact that the geography of the holiday is expanding every year, the number of participants is growing, among which there are more and more young people.
