Russia expects Chadian Transitional President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno to visit St. Petersburg in July 2023 to participate in the second Russia-Africa summit. This was reported on Monday in a communiqué of the Russian embassy in Chad, which is available to TASS.
"Russia is expecting President of the Republic of Chad Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno to arrive at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin to participate in the second Russia-Africa summit to be held in St. Petersburg in July 2023, heading a Chadian delegation, which will be offered an interesting and rich program of stay, business meetings, new business projects, major investment programs," the diplomatic mission said.
Earlier Roscongress reported that the second Russia-Africa summit and economic forum was planned for July 26-29, 2023.
